CHECK FB OR THE WEB FOR THIS SCAM GOING ON... Just had a call from this number... I have been called for over 6 weeks and ever time it is a new scam!!!!!!!!!! This number is a scam... They are asking you about car, roof, AC, Free Cruise just to get you to say yes.
If you say YES they can utilize your voice command to impersonate you for credit fraud.
they called my wife and asked "can you hear me" in order to get her to say "yes".......... she said "uh-huh", but then hung up once she realized it was one of those calls...... now we're double checking with the credit agencies to make sure no one is applying for credit in our name...........DJ
the phone number is spoofed. the call is not really coming from 214-814-9715. it's a scam of the day trying to get credit card, name, or any sort of information about you. if you answer the phone then bam, your phone number is now verified as a live, real phone number and gets put into a different database that gets sold to scammers for even more money.
I just won a free cruse and vacation from Hilton. Not. Like others say they try to get you to say yes repeatedly. After the computer hands you over its a person who attempts to get you to say yes.
