When I picked up the person said he was Alex with windows maintenance and spoke with an accent, suspect it was from India. He said I had problems with my computer and told him how could I when I don't even have a computer. Asked for the name of his company and he hung up. I called the number and it rang twice and then busy.
I was home sick yesterday sleeping on my recliner when this foreign speaking guy called. The m.o.was the same as previously posted. He said he was from "windows" and my computer was infected and sending them error reports. Since he had woke me up and I wasn't going anywhere I decided to string him along as long as I could by asking questions.
I am a businessman and have multiple computers and other devices at home and many more at work. I asked him which one was sending the reports and he said all of them. He kept asking me to turn on my computer so he could show me. Since that was not going to happen I hung up on him. And an hour or so later he called again with the same story. I strung him out again. I don't know if he knew he already called or was just persistent or stupid
Got a call from this number saying they were getting erroneous messages from my windows computer. Couldn't hardly understand her broken English. I believe they are fraudulent.
