At the moment, he's known as Harry Joseph might be wrong since he's a scammer.....we have been chatting for about two weeks. He claims to be American living and working in Japan. He went to the Philippines for a work trip and lost his wallet. So begged me to send him some money and he will pay back. I sent him the money and that was the end, he disappeared.

The old romance scam. Thanks for telling what is a difficult story. If you read this, please post back where/how you met him if that happened through a website. The romance scammers tend to tell the same basic story, and often stick to or return to websites that have had success with.
-- There are some other on-lines support type sites for victims of these scammers, and some have was to post information that might help other women from being scammed. Since he avoided the military angle, I am thinking he has done this same thing many times, knows claims of being in the military are easy to crack. Good Luck, and take care.
