Drew from "M&P" called. They have called dozens of times within the past year or so. Today he again asked for the owner by first name. I said "Your company has been calling here a lot. ______ is not familiar with your company. Just take us off your list." It won't work, but I was civil for once !! I hope they and all other harassers and scammers burn in h--l.
We open at 8:30, they called at 8:10 and left a message on voice mail consisting of only a series of very loud beeps, not a fax tone, but very annoying and lasting the full length of time allotted for messages on voice mail so no other messages could be recorded.
Apparently this is "Sam" with "M&P". When I asked him what M&P stood for (what kind of business) he responded, "the owner knows who I am". I then asked him for his phone number (after I had written it down from caller ID display) and he responded, "I don't have to give you my phone number, I just need to speak to the owner". I told him that the owner does not take direct calls and that only by leaving his number does he stand a chance of speaking with him. Guess what? "Sam" hung up on me.....
Just had a call from this individual as well. He was less than polite on the phone. I tried calling the number back on the display but it is disconnected which is odd
Yup, disconnected. How do they do this? Their obnoxious calls continue to interrupt my day, but I added an amazing call feature to my business phone. You can actually activate a call screening service through your local phone company on your landline and add 10 phone numbers to your list that can't get access to your phone number any more. I also am paying for privacy manager, so I don't receive "priv" calls anymore!
