It showed up on my CallerID as "American Heart Association" - whose work is "well-intended" --> but it was an 800# call, which I never answer. Then--n-n, after I typed the first sentence of this Message, I double-checked my CallerID - - and, guess what? The "American Heart Association" 800# item had disappeared ( but I did not delete it ).
More phony fundraising scammers. This time spoofing to be from the American Heart Association using a Texas area code, 214, to try to steal credit card info. Numbers used so far 214-903-4450 (Waxahachie, TX), 214-305-2151 (Prosper, TX); 214-506-7289 (Seagoville, TX).
I have received numerous calls from this number. It looks like they change numbers when you answer and hang up. They use the same area code. Very annoying.
