CA-Sand-Rat:
Yes, you're right. I've had all 8xx numbers blocked for quite a while now, yet I still received the whole list of AHA 8xx numbers over the last month or so, over and over again. Now, in rapid succession over the past three days, I'm getting these Texas AHA numbers instead. The telemarketing call center is reported to be Infocision, which is able to "spoof" seemingly local numbers.
You're correct on Infocision. They are nasty people. I believe they have been in bed with AHA for years. I am in CA, so I wonder why they don't spoof local area codes like any other self respecting telemarketer maggot. It is hard to block your own area code.
BTW, is anyone, besides me, getting those return address labels from the AHA, thanking me for my past "donations". Just curious. I don't use them. Not going to advertise for them.
The AHA has been calling my blocker for the last 4 years from their 8xx numbers. Now they finally updated to at least 3 new numbers from the 214 area code. Maybe no one was answering the old numbers.
