When I answered, I got a recorded message saying about the US Dept of Education forgiving student loans. Hung up before it finished and immediately blocked the number.
I think this is hilarious. A scientific survey for a free cruise to the Bahamas? Ha ha ha.
Isn't it incredible that there are actually people out there who fall for stuff like this? I read somewhere that the Nigerians purposely make ridiculous offers like this, because they're looking for really ignorant people who don't question these things.
Sorry to include old people, but being old is still no excuse. Heck, I'm old too!
SCAM ALERT: if you see this number do not pick it up it is a scam that is being used by Nigerian people. They fake the number so that it looks like it is coming from Texas but they are routing it and it is from Nigeria. My grandmother was taken for almost $500 before we realized they were scamming her. We called the local police and there was nothing they could do but refer us to the FCC, till this day we are still waiting for them to do something. SCAM ALERT PLEASE DO NOT PICK UP TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW.
