Received two messagess from this number from a person who said her name was Agent Waters. The first message said that she wa trying to contact a person who I do not know about fraudalent activity and bad checks. The second call said that she was investigating someone who I do not know and that my name came up as a person of interest and that both me and my attorney need to contact her right away.
Got a call from this number trying to extort money from me, saying they were from the Monroe County NY Fraud Unit. Said they were calling on non-payment of a pay day loan. I don't have a pay day loan. Well, I work for a law firm. So the first call I made was to the Monroe County NY Fraud Unit at the DA's office, who told me they don't use companies out of Texas. I called them back, and when I told them what I knew, she promptly became rude, told me to have my attorney call them to get my number off my call list, and hung up on me.
Do not give out your information. This is a scam to try to get any kind of personal information they can.
I received a telephone call from this number from an Agent Adam Banks, an Investigator for Intercheck Company on MY JOB stating that my information just came into their office about a payday loan that I defaulted on and that I needed to make the appropriate arrangements to pay my account out of court. I told them that I did would not be arranging anything because I don't have an account with anybody. They got upset and called my job back and told the receptionist that they were investigating me for class A check fraud and they needed to speak to my supervisor. I got a supervisor on the phone and they asked for my employee number and address because they wanted to get me served with a summons to appear for court. She explained that she could not give out my information. I looked up their information (name and number) in the Better Business Bureau's online website. Neither the name or company exist.
Called our company, employees are not allowed personal phone calls so employee attepted to transfer Adam Banks began to call my employee an f n idiot etc... He hung up and called back and got the receptionist, then began trying to yell at her, She transfered to me and he attempted to insult my intelligence and got mad because I would not let him speak to my employee. He then wanted me to take a message so I told him it shows how smart he is as I am not a sec. for my employees. He then threatened to see me in 15 min. I am still waiting.
