They call over and over and over, disconnecting or hanging up. Never reached any live person. I've had about 35 calls from these scum bags over the past 4 days or so.
I get calls from this number daily, sometimes more than once a day. I haven't been answering since my caller ID tells me it is 'Patriot Payments' calling. I did answer a couple times hoping to get someone who I could tell not to call me anymore but whenever I do answer there is no one there.
One way to tell it's spam? The phone rings only 3 or 4 times. Since they don't want to waste time on a call picked up by an answering machine after 5 or so rings, some spammers like these have started disconnecting after just a few rings. Still annoying, but it keeps me from even having to get to the phone to look at the caller ID.
These people call my workplace several times a week, and they're extremely rude. They ask for my boss, and when I attempt to take a message, they hang up without even a "No thanks, I'll try back later". Wasting my time at work, tying up the line and just generally being jerks. Damn your eyes, Patriot Payments!
They call the dental office where I work out numerous times thru out the day. Finally I picked up the phone today and the person asked to speak with the office manager. I told her I was she and then I requested that we be removed from their calling list that Dr was not interested. She hung up on me. They called back 45 minutes later. Go figure....
