Have received no less than SEVEN calls from this number in the last week! No messages are ever left and they ALWAYS call right in the middle of dinner!!
This is from a call center asking for donations for the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP). The organization is good but the call center is relentless in calling, especially if you have donated to them. One thing people should know about these call centers, they keep most of the money you donate. The charity or organization they are collecting for only gets about .25 to .35 cents out of every dollar you give. I no longer give to call centers and donate to the local charities were I live, that way 100% goes to the local charity. Also if you call back this number they offer to put your number on their "Do not call list". I gave my information to their system to put me on their "Do not call" list. Hopefully this will stop their relentless calling.
If you want to donate to the FOP and get their sticker for your car go and give. But be warned, they will sell your number to other call centers for other charities and your phone will be ringing all the time. If you are thinking you might get out of a ticket with the FOP sticker on your car, that is a myth. Police ignore those little stickers and if you point it out to them they might thank you for donating, but you will still get a ticket.
