Got a call from this number. Person said he was from AT&T and wanted to talk to person responsible for the AT&T account. Told him to quit calling, that they were a scam and I was tired of the calls from this number. Man got defensive, said he never said he was AT&T but just represented them and wanted to save me money. These people are either scam artists or contractors for AT&T who are working for commissions and irritating AT&T customers continually. AT&T ought to do something about these people--they are damaging AT&T's reputation and irritating the heck out of customers.
Claimed to be AT&T, wanting to speak with the business owner regarding the account. I said they were not available and if they could leave a number to call them back and they said they would call back later and hung up. Looked up the number, it's from Dallas but nothing related to ATT so it's unknown if it's really them.
Got a call from this number. She said her name was "Maya" and that she was going to give us a "discount" of 39.95 for each land line. I said I was not interested and she asked why. I told her I did not trust what she was offering. Told her to send me a letter and she asked for my email. I told her no. I was not interested. Not sure what their scam is but maybe they just get their kicks playing games with people.
