This number called my mom looking for me she then sent me a text with the number told me to call them to see what they want so, I did it is a mediation firm telling me I'm being sued for a payday loan I told the lady I never received any kind of payday loan from anyone she then proceeded to tell me to get a good attorney & good luck & hung up. I believe this is a scam

Yes it is a scam. If you were really getting sued, you would have an unannounced visit from a licensed server - not a phone cold call. Texts, emails, & faxes are also NOT an official notification o debt.
