They called my cell. I only answered because it was a local number. They asked if I was still looking for health insurance. I told her no and to please stop calling me. She then told me not to put my phone number on the Internet and hung up on me. The rudeness and audacity of these unsolicited callers is outrageous and unacceptable. Where have manners gone?
I have gotten no fewer than 5 calls already this year (maybe this month) from this number - whenever I try to answer it becomes a missed call, and I have had a similar experience to others with the insurance and then asking to be removed (even if I opted in before, I have the right to opt out anytime!) and having them hang up on me vs. agreeing to do that. So, I have added this number to my reject list to avoid wasting any more time. However, since I originally inquired about some insurance that I no longer need, I suspect I am on other lists now since I have done this dance with at least two other companies since investigating prices online 3 or 4 months ago. I'm sure sorry I did now!
