This person calls from a "cell phone" and claims to be from the "acted/afted-it's not clear) Aquisition Enforcement Office". It sounds all very scripted. He goes on to say that they are investigating some "issues" that were done online and that I need to call them immediately or else they would have to take "action". How a legal company would be calling from a cell phone is beyond me and what issues are they referring to and what action would they take, is unknown. He was very convincing as to the "seriousness" of the call. Seems like they are fishing for information and seemed to not know how to react when confronted with these facts. He also seemed to get assistance form someone else or a script and since I wasn't biting he hemmed and hawed alot. Also I told them I reported them to DONOTCALL.gov and to stop calling me. When I told them I reported them and not to call again I hung up, and did not receive a call back. I am sure governmental agencies would not call you and tell you to call back.

Same thing just happened to me. Very Very weird!!! Really upset me the way they used the tones of their voices to try to make it has they mean business. Apparently my friend used my name as a contact reference and they were try to get infor for her. Hello..this is not me. I feel like I was violated. The best part is..they left me a voice mail with all that was stated above. Wish i new how to put that on like you tube..I could right???
They keep calling me while I'm at work talking to me like I am a dog looking for an old friend that used my name as a reference years ago. They are very rude and disrespectful! Something should be done about this commpany!
