Shows ADVF on Caller ID, caller asked for 'William' which is no one who would be at my number. Told him he had the wrong number and the call was disconnected.
Called and asked for someone other than myself. I told them they had the wrong number. Then they said, "well then maybe you can help me. I'm from the veterans foundation..." I hung up.
Normally I wouldn't have answered but I was expecting a furniture delivery this morning. Thought it might be the delivery driver since it was a local call. Caller asked for "Sheila" but entered into a speil (prerecorded) saying "Well maybe you can help me...." Asking for money for veterans group. I hung up.
