Who called from 2149749674

Received a call giving me a reference number and asking me to call immediately and be ready to provide the case number then ended with a statement that I have been notified. I never bothered calling and assigned the number to auto reject. They have been calling every other day but I blocked the number and they don't leave a message. Just a scam,.....Block them....

Received call from this number after hours on my business line. No voicemail left.

Answered. Said hello twice. They said nothing. I hung up.

My call logs show several calls have been made by this phone number.
I wasn't inside the house to pick up the phone for some of them.
No message was left on voice mail.
One two of them on the 29th, I picked up the phone after three rings, said nothing.
I could hear faint sounds on each but the caller hung up without indentifying themselves.
One one of them today (the 30th), I picked up the phone after three rings, said nothing.
I heard my first name spoken, then the caller hung up about two seconds later.
Tch, tch, how impatient !!
I am in Texas, but don't know of any "security" business in the 214 area code that needs to contact me, as I am 150 miles away from that region.
Four calls in one day means they are desperate to scam me.

The man told me he was from GE home security and said that home owners in my area were able to receive a free system or demo or something.
Anyone think it might be someone calling in order to use software to watch phone activity?
