i too did call the same number. verified about them. come to know that they are the volunteers of attorney department which is controlled by american council. they were right on their part and were very polite and generous to my matter of clearing. i was doubting but i confirmed they were right and i ve resolved my dues with my full satisfaction, got my affidavit to my resident address as well and suggest you to clear your pending dues.
I got a call from this nuber requsting my attorney information and saying that I was being charged for fraud and other things regarding a payday loan online. This person had a strong accent and when I had returned their call they answered and thought I was somone else and said that I was not an attorney and they couldn't give me their fax number, and I was just returning their call.
I have been getting these calls as well. Caller name is Mark Watson. I can't understand much of what he is say, he's English is VERY bad, but what I did make out was that he claims to be a police officer and is calling about the case under my SS number and I need to call him right back in order to prevent prosecution? I have no idea what this is about but he is calling about 2 times everyday and it always has something to do with my SS number?
Do I call him back and find out what this is all about?
i ve just found about whats this all regarding to, i ve noticed this number really connects to legal department which is controlled and managed by fdcpa. as i ve just gone through the process of the resolvement i ve received the confirmation of the matter on my email. Now i m just satisfied.... i ve no more queries regarding this matter......
