I keep on getting phone calls from 1-951-878-5072 and it's an indian guy claiming that there is a law suit against my S.S number.He asked if I had an attorney and it sounded like there was a lot going on in the background.I called the number back and it connects me to an automated wal-mart recording.It's gone far beyond harassment!I have a phone plan through wal-mart,I'm wondering if somebody compromised personel information about me and probably other customers of wal-mart.I insulted him with some nasty names and he came right back with the insults.If he was really a professional he would'nt of handled the call like that.
I have receive the very same message over and over again, about three or four times a month. This has been going on for about a year. I ask three different times to remove my number from their directory over the year, but I still get the calls.
This middle Eastern accent guy, named Julian Marshall has called my cell phone twice today. Wanting me to call him back and give him a social security number and keeps threating with legal action. His last call/voice mail was a threat again and then he said good luck.
This is a scam of some type. Using Call Control app to blacklist the number.
He also has a number of 469-713-2550. And, when I called back using the 214-989-6077, no one answered. Then I got a call back/voice mail from a different guy (Middle Eastern Indian) claiming to be with a law firm.
I also got a call from the 214# - they are using the Carlson Law Firm in Austin, Tx,
as a front.
The law firm has been inundated with calls about this person they know about the
situation - no one can stop, they have nothing to do with this person.
I got a call from this number and he said his name was Bulter but he had a Mid-Eastern accent. He said that he worked for a law firm and that there was a case on me. I asked about it and he stated he wanted my social security number. Are you crazy? He stated that I had not paid a Payday Loan for $300. I told him that I have never done a payday loan and he hung up. Guys, this is a scam!
Some guy keeps calling me from this and other numbers saying that there is going to be a case filed against me and my social security number. The accents are usually indian or so I think but they have left various names, the most understandable of which is James Parker. They tell me that it is an extremely time sensitive matter and that they need to speak to me that day. They want to know the name of my retained attorney but when I tell them I don't have an attorney, they are shocked or act that way and then tell me that I am about to be sued for violating federal banking regulations, collateral check fraud, and theft by deception. They urge me not to disregard the call and call them back immediately and if I don't all they can do is wish me good luck. Hmmn, it's just odd that nothing ever comes in the mail. I have called them back on occassion, but they can't give me any concrete evidence. Everything is vague. I have done payday loans, but have either paid them off or am in the process of paying them off. I think they are getting the information off the internet somehow, so anyone who does payday loans this way beware. I am closing my checking account and using a prepaid debit card from now on.
