I'm sorry but come to find out this was not a 'Scam; and my friend did indeed owe for a PayDay loan that she defaulted on !! She made the necessary arrangements and kept herself from any court related matters....
This caller identified himself as Investigator Lou King and said that he was preparing to send a warrant for my friend's immediate arrest because of unpaid debt unless she sent him thousands of dollars immediately. This is a scam!

Clap-trap. These people are debt scammers. They ID themselves as "Investigative Unit" and will not ID what company they are part of . Typical of these white collar criminals who go around telling people they have debts and trying to scare them into paying them. If they have a valid debt, they are supposed to send the debtor a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good. Of course they never do this, just rely on threats.
