Same story about buying a car for his father. He is in the military - Naval officer.
Get this - he said he is in Dallas in China Lake, CA - that was a tip off.
He said his name was Benjamin Stephine
Scammer!! Tried to text me about an automobile for sale. Wants to use a PayPal account under the name Benjamin Stephine from Dallas, and a bunch of bull about being in the military and buying it for his brother in law....the more he texts, the more the story changes...BEWARE SCAMMER!
Scammer now it's his father he wants to buy the car for same name in the Navy and all that BS. Beware I let him drag it out in the end i told him i had a lock on his location thorugh GPS and thanks to the FBI they were looking for him no more texts from him.
Texted saying he wanted to buy my truck. Gave the navy story and a gift for his dad's birthday next weekend story. Wanted to pay using PayPal. I told him I only take cash and told him I know of the scams for PayPal. Haven't heard back since my last text to him.
