I also met this Edgar Jimmy Moore on line with the same exact story. Who asked me to send him money. But now he has a new number of 321-270-5300. Beware of this person. He is a fraud. I contacted the Army police and made a report. You should do the same. This man needs to be stopped.
I had a man by the name of edger jimmy moore msg me on facebook. I questioned him about his profile and how he found me. He claimed to be legit, but the more I dug, I woke up to his profile deleted. He said he was a us army warrant officer. Swore it was him, but I just had a gut feeling...then sure enough now his facebook is gone.
Same phone number, saw an ad of mine on Craigslist for a truck I'm selling wanted to send money via PayPal but I refused. Said his name was Edgar Moore Hope. When I told him cash or certified check, no response. This guy is a scam artist.
