agree with above. went on several job sites looking for new job and jobradar was one of them. responding to job boards is risky and they hound you. put my fax on this line to stop them from calling and unsubscribed, i hope, to their job boards,
When I first picked up the phone, this pre-recorded message was in the middle of playing "All of our representatives are now busy assisting others, please wait..." using an Indian-sounding female voice. After a couple repeats of this message, an American-sounding female cut in saying her name was Ashley and that she was calling from JobsRadar. She started to give a kind of selling pitch and proceeded to talk over me even though I told her she must be looking for my daughter, who had just visited the site www.jobsradar.com a few minutes ago. Ashley was STILL doing her pitch when I handed my daughter the phone! Then, when my daughter got on, Ashley only stopped enough to ask her what kind of job she wanted and her educational background. Even though my daughter clearly told her she was a high school graduate and wanted an *entry level* cashier's job, Ashley relentlessly proceeded to try and sell my daughter some educational classes she said would get the job. Finally, my daughter got Ashley off the line. I then had my daughter show me to this JobsRadar website. It turned out to be some place where they get your name, address, phone number, etc. before re-routing you to someplace else on the web which also makes to register before giving you details on a "so-called" job the person is applying for. SCAM!!!
All these things make me think JobsRadar is nothing but some kind of telemarketing agency masquerading as a job-finding site trying to sell worthless classes or make money from their victims anyway they can. Even if it is not, they were extremely unprofessional by playing the "all of our customer reps are now busy" message at the beginning when THEY called US, not allowing us to get a word in edgewise, and continuing on with their said-many-times-before selling pitch. I have blocked their 215-220-4767 number from my phone and encourage everyone to do the same. I also strongly recommend people looking for work do NOT to visit the site www.jobsradar.com since it is totally useless. You can find legitimate jobs with the tried-and-true professional job-finding/job-placing sites or with your local walk-in placement agencies. Good luck!
I will give them credit for one thing, they are persistant. They called my cell phone once every half hour until I decided to look up there number and found this site. I do not answer my phone if I don't recognize the number and I only return calls that leave messages. Guess I was right about it being no one I wanted to talk to and so I am going to block their number and be done with it. Thanks for the info and update!
