Received a call from this number claiming to be with vehicle protection services. I allowed the caller to start his initial pitch and politely informed him that I no longer owned the vehicle that he was calling about. He scoffed, and said, "if that is the case, did you lease, finance, or purchase your current vehicle." I replied that it is not his concern what type of vehicle I am driving. After a laugh and a little foul language from him, he hung up on me.
Companies like this have been around forever, I understand, but it is low life human beings that choose to work for and keep in business these companies. I would be ashamed if someone in my family actually stooped low enough to resort to harassing consumers with real jobs for a living.
Because the FCC does nothing to penalize or regulate these "lowest common denominator" call centers, it is just another number that I will have to block manually.
I hope the vehicle protection services employees feel good about what they are doing and are scamming enough money off of hard working americans so that their children are not succumbed to living like the common street trash that their parents have become.
