The do not call registry is a farce. It only works for the upstanding business that obey the law. For each one of the legitimate business getting the "do not call" list, the are hundreds of illegal business getting their hands on the list. The way it works is when you add your name to the list, this list is then circulated to marketing company's who should then remove all those on the list from the marketing company's list.
