I assure you they are NOT legit! I've gotten calls from this number and they call themselves a "google partner" and say that if our business is not verified, our business will stop appearing on google and other search engines. After they ask a lot of questions (in other words, they make you think they are "verifying" your business is legit), they then tell you that for a one time fee of $399, they will verify your business and make sure it stays that way so that google won't remove it. When you balk, they tell you that every other company that is doing this will charge you a monthly fee forever, so this is cheaper. They have literally called me dozens and dozens of times and I have finally put them on my "reject" list. Oh, and I called google and they told me this is nothing but lies and a marketing scheme...
If you need to verify your Google listing, you can go online and do it yourself for free. It takes about 5 minutes. It took a lot longer to FIND the Google Dashboard than to do the actual verification.
Recording from this number leaves a THREATING "urgent" "Press 1 for agent" message that if I don't verify my Google business listing with them. "Your Google business listing is at risk of being suspended" "...or else it will not be shown to customers making them think that you are no longer in business."
