The exact thing happened to me and they called my job today and said they were sending sheriffs dept to my store and they were calling hr dept of my work. I have already informed them at work before they had chance they also gave a fake warrent number. I have notified police dept also.
We have had several clients report that they have received calls from this number threatening to have the person arrested for not paying a loan. They try to obtain client's banking information. When our office calls them back and informs them right from the beginning that we are recording the phone call, they hang up and will not answer any further calls. This is a SCAM. The caller used the name of Mike Johnson.
Same exact story just happened to me today. Kidman, Proctor, and Associates called this morning HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS DUE TO YELLING AND THREATENING. Same gammut: pay immediately, won't provide info on who they are collecting for, will be arrested, put in jail for up to 6 months with fine of up to $10, 000 in late fees. "Eric Williams," "Elwin Scott," and "Benjamin Gates" from same exact phone number. Number disconnects. The whole same story. same stories going on as everyone elses. very funny to hear the scammer panic when i busted him in the scam. i also let my job know about this. i have experience with this situation. i have been a victim of id theft before so i can tell when something is weird. it is just so much fun to hear the guy so called alvin scott fret about when i point out that his firm is not listed online. he claims that theyre a private firm that wont show up. its to a point where im relishing in messing with this clown.
