Caller (hispanic accent) - 'your brother's been in a bad car accident while leaving a gas station just now' ...
My brother is a police officer, so I said I'll just record this call and let him know - hung up.
Same story this morning. Said my brother was in a bad accident with caller and that my brother provided my phone number to let me know. Caller identified himself as Gabriel and spoke very fast, with an accent. I asked what my brother's name was. He said "Michael." I said, "Thank you very much" and hung up (not my brother's name!). I knew it was a scam from the beginning. What a joke!! Are these people for real?
