I've gotten several calls from this number and they won't leave a message. They just hang up. Call the number back and it's a marketing research survey/study. Google search from caller ID indicates they're Global Market Insite Inc. They're really annoying and I wish they would stop calling. My number is unlisted and I'm on the do-not-call list.

Yep, received a call from this number during the dinner hour. Caller ID showed GMI, which as the other poster indicated is Global Market Insite, Inc. They apparently conduct digital data collection through various types of surveys.
We, too, are on the meaningless Do Not Call List, so I don't know why they are attempting to annoy us.
I am on the do not call list too. They have called two nights in a row and let the line open so the answering machine picks up and it keeps beeping until I shut it off. Don' t they get the hint when the phone is not answered? Oh I forgot. They are people who use technology to annoy people. How would they like it if it happened to them?
