I received a call from this number at 8am. Foreign accent stating he was with USA benefits. He stated I qualified for a $100 Gift Card since I used my VISA card somewhere. I asked which VISA since I have more than one and he said it was by VISA not a specific company. He had my name, address and phone#. He said he needed my Visa info (why doesn't he have that since he said that is who qualified me for this reward?) to process a $4.95 fee to activate the card. When I told him I was not comfortable giving that info over the phone, he was very slick to say I just need the expiration date, that's all. So I gave him some random dates, and he proceeded to try to get my credit card info saying it was okay since he wouldn't ask for my PIN number. I told him I needed a phone number to call him back and he could not give me that info. He stated he would call back. I guess I just won't answer. I still don't feel comfortable giving my credit card info out....over the phone. I just don't trust it.
They have repeatedly called me even though I've asked them to stop. When I call them it's a machine that gives to the "option" of taking your number off the list but never actually lets you do that. Every time they call I give them a death threat, but they still continue to call.
This number has called me 3 times in the last hour, it's rediculous! I never answer the phone and they never leave a message. I just called them back to get on their " Do not call list" We will see how far that gets me.
