Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Press 1 to talk to a live operator or press 3 to discontinue further notices."

Caller ID looks like a VIN so I didn't answer. The partial message from the machine was:
"find out now the terms, conditions and associated changes before the next billing cycle. again this is your final notice as it relates to the financial stimulus, so press 1 now"
obvious tele-scam.

Slightly different VIN # V08221244160020 on the caller ID but same message: "find out now the terms, conditions and associated changes before the next billing cycle. again this is your final notice as it relates to the financial stimulus"
Apparently I am the only one receiving calls from this number but quite a few companies feel the need to give me a "final notice." I wonder if they understand the meaning of final.
Every "V" number will be different for every call and is inserted by the autodialer these scammers are using. It gives the month and day, time of the call at their location in 24 hour time down to the hundredths of a minute and a serial number for the current sequence of calls.
