Have been getting calls daily from scammers and I never answer the phone anymore unless I know the caller. No idea how my number got out there but this has been going on for months and I am considering changing it. One trick that has helped me in dealing: I assign all these BS number to a contact (which I labeled SCAMMERS)... I just keep adding them every time a new one comes in. I then assign that contact a silent ring so if they ever call back again from that same number, at least I don't hear it.
