I closed my account with Wachovia back on 1/10/2010 and I continue to get calls telling me that I am in the negative on my account. I ask how can that happen if I was at a $0.00 on 1/10/2010 and every month I get a call or a letter telling me I need more money to close my account. I am not giving them any more money!!!! TAKE ME TO COURT. LETS SEE WHO WINS!!!!
I opened my wachovia account and thought it was the greatest. When I lost my job, I barely kept enough money in there to cover my bills. I brought it current and asked them to close the account. An auto-draft attempted to come through after the fact, but they charged me a fee and now refuse to close the account. They have run up about $800 in fees. They can go to hell.
