I just received a call from the same number. They say they represent comcast and are for new customers, but i'm not a customer and cannot use comcast where i live due to a contract. Any way, i called back using google voice, and its a completely different company, i couldn't understand what they said though when they said the name of the company. But i am positively sure, this is telemarketer scam, trying to steal your money through the use of a cable company. I can tell by the accent, that the guy calling was middle eastern, calling from a call center, they've must have moved on from using fake pc tech support to pretending to repsent other companys and trying to steal your money and or other things, like your identity. There is no way they are from or represent comcast, because my phone has been changed and is brand new, and comcast does not have my phone number!!! I'm waiting on a call from comcast right now to tell them about this telemarketing or whatever kind of scam this is, these people are sneaky. I always call these number back from online phone numbers, where you use skype or google voice or both. No way in the world these people are from comcast. because no comcast has my phone number!
I just called this number & got a recording for an Insurance Hotline for people that are paying too much for their insurancee. Just another telemarketer looking to Scam you out of your money.
