I recieved a text message from 267-250-3729 with this message: THE CREDIT UNION CENTER ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please call 215-554-6894. I called 215-554-6894 with my number on caller ID and the response was: Please enter your 16 digit card number. Did not even identify what credit union or company name it is. So called 267-250-3729 and the message said: The number you have called have a voicemail that have not been set-up yet. So I blocked my caller ID and called 215-554-6894 again, the message was then became: The number you have called is not in service!. TOTAL SCAM!!! I researched both numbers: 215-554-6894 is listed to be from Philadelphia area which is listed to be serviced by MCI Metro Access Transmission Services - and the 267-250-3729 was listed as New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC-DC.
This phone/text number is the perpetrator of credit card, bank card & bank account fraud. DO NOT provide any information to this phone/text number. I received a text from this number saying my card has been deactivated, and then to call a separate number and give out my credit card info. My bank does not send out text messages about card deactivations, do not give out any of your info to this number!

Just received a text from 267-250-3729. It read, "BANK ACCOUNT ALERT: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED." My husband tried to call the number (215-554-6894) from his cell phone and it just had a recorded message asking for my credit card number. Maybe someone can track the 267 #. Another number it seems to be linked to is 866-427-4433.
