You know - there should be a law in this country that prohibits unwanted calls. You should have to sign-up to receive the calls, since obviously the DNC (do not call) list doesn't work.
Do not call the number back and do not answer. Eventually they will go out of business and stop calling us all because they are just wasting time, disturbing your peace, or waking babies and day sleepers up for no reason.
Focus Pointe is actually a great company (local one to me is in Boston and has an extensive office space to accomodate all the on site focus groups that are held.) Hopefully management can improve on the quality of outgoing calls, because they offer very generous compensation for simple focus groups and surveys.
This is a call for focus pointe global. They call to see if you are eligible for market research studies. It's legit. I've made about $300 through them this year.
It's Focus Point Global, a marketing research company, and they're completely legit. Apparently, no matter where you've signed up for any focus group campaign (I live in CA), their comfirmation calls to confirm your appointment booking comes from this phone /location (which is PA). It's a "safe" phone number.
