My number was a completely different number. It was 309-200-0522. And Al Smith called my job about a loan with USCASHNET, which is a company i have yet to hear about. I am 19 years old and i have never taken or received any loans for as long as i have lived. When i called back a SAM answered the phone and stated, "law firm." ----He did not stated the name of the law firm, that bothered me but i continued with the call. He went on to say thatn he couldn't give may any information and he transferred me to someone who was suppose to help me but instead they person was extremely dsirespectful and i couldn't understand most of the things he was saying.
They told me i owed $349, and that was with the late fee and interest rate. They also stated that the loan was for $200. I asked for the name of their company and the stated Dodds Law Firm and Legal Associates.
When searching on google, using the false inforamtion they gave me, i cam across the The Dodds Law Firm, PLS which is in AZ, and the number above is a IL number. So i call them, they then directed me to Terry Dodds, an IL law firm. So of course i contacted him and we dicussed the matter. He stated that he has had two calls already and that the actually filled a report witht the bloomington il police department. He advised that i call them as well and i did. They directed me to my local police department and asked they file an assist other agency report.
They numbers aren't the same but i am damn sure these are the same damn ppl with that THICK [***] accent that nobody understands.
Continue to call daily for the last 10 days. They were calling on my cell phone, but now are calling my home, sister, neighbor & place of employment. I'm not answering the calls or calling them back. they say they are with the Federal Investigation Authority calling about an urgent legal matter. I or my attorney must call them back or I will have an uncomfortable situation at my work or home. The call is coming from California 415-880-5599. The number for me to return the call is 215-586-3579
This number 215-586-3579 calls me and says if I dont call them back the next day at 11:30am I will be faced with a legal matter mess. First of all anything real would not be handled this way....I can barely understand these people and they sound like they are on a cell phone and driving while talking. I am constantly being harrased by these people...The only way I can think they got my info is from a PAST pay day loan that I have since then pd off and back. ??? Anyone w/any info on these people pls let us all know. I am ready to change my # vuz of them...The scarey part is they have my social...I guess it is time to get Life Lock.
These people are crazy!!! They have been bothering me for almost 2yrs now. I called the FBI, Local police dept., US Atty office and filed complaints with all of them. They said there is nothing they can do because they are from another country. I had to change my cell number, tell them when they call my place of employment that I no longer work there. I mean they will call then nothing for 6 months then call my work again. I mean give it UP!!!! They are not going to get any money from me, please DO NOT give they any INFORMATION AT ALL..... Tell them if you answer the phone the federal attorities have been notified and next time you call me, you will be contacted by the local and the US attorties. Someone needs to catch these people and put them in the slammer!!! This is totally crazy.
Yes I totally agree...They have been calling my cell number and each time it has been a different person (male) w/a diff name...NOW they are having women call me with original names such as Angela Smith..?? And at my home # too now...First of all they are obviously middle eastern and no ME person has a such name like Angela Smith!!! I have called the Social Security Office, FBI, and the Fed trade Comm. All have complaints from me regarding these people....What The SSA tells me that they can't do anything w/our socials but it still worries me! They need to be stopped...Don't know what else to do!!
They've been calling me for the past 2 weeks got another call today asking to return the call to 215-586-3579. Someone named "Adam Smith" (must be related to Angela Smith from the post above) total SCAM. Threatening legal action etc. just like the above posts, they won't be getting a call back from me. About 2 years ago got calls from Bass & Associates wanting something like $700 in 24 hrs. with similar threats must be true what Alfalfa is talking about above. Once I wrote them and filed a complaint stopped getting calls, they must be up to they're old tricks again.
