Just got the 50th call this week. Decided to answer. When I didn't say anything the guy on the other end said "whatever, we'll just keep calling back".
Pounding me with calls 5-10 times/day. Setup google voice to screen incoming then forward to my real number - they now hear a standard phone company style "beep" and "this number has been disconnected" message but apparently nobody is there to listen - they just keep calling. The calls never ring my phone now but I still have to weed through them in my call logs. This must be illegal !!!
This caller calls our business several times a day and asks to speak to a person who doesn't work here. We've explained this and asked them to please remove the number and to not call anymore. So far it's done no good whatsoever. If you hang up, they will call back. Our company is tired of putting up with them, so decided to report them and register on do not call registry. Unfortunately, that will take 30 days and these nuts have been calling for months. Caller ID says Spectrum Control.
I've started letting my 6 year old handle all calls I don't recognize---it's been wonderful. They usually get fed up after a few minutes of him naming all of his Thomas and Friends engines. lol
They call me too, about 4 or 5 times a day. The caller ID says CSX. I usually just let it go to voicemail (they never leave a message), but today I just got fed up and answered it. All I heard was someone talking, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I wish they'd get the hint and stop calling already!
