This was a survey to ask me if I was satisfied with the work OBAMA is doing. They left a message on my answering machine and wanted me to resond by pushing 1-4. I hate these survey ppl. Next time I'm going to answer and give fake answers just to screw up their results!!!!! ha ha ha
I received a call also. The first question was I satisfied with the work OBAMA is doing. I said NO. The line went dead. I guess that isn't the answer they wanted and I'm sure I won't be included in the survey results. Keep this in mind the next time you hear about survey results.
@Will: Actually, it could be that "NO" was exactly the answer they were hoping you'd give and they decided not to waste any more time on you so they hung up.
@Ashley: "Respectable" is a difficult word to nail down in the world of polling, Ashley. And any polling organization that claims to have a foolproof method of either weeding out or "correcting for" responses from people who willingly answer the question set falsely is lying. And the statistical method of "adjusting" results is notoriously unreliable.
The calls from 215-622-9623 seem to be coming from American Action [although my call this evening listed the caller as "Public Survey." The calling number is in Lower Bucks County, PA. My search this evening traces it back to Doylestown, PA, but there are probably several call-generator sites in the general SE PA region. "American Action" may be linked to the American Action Forum, a conservative think tank, which does some polling.
