I've been receiving calls from this number for quite a while now. Whoever it is has never left a message and calls at least 2 times a day, usually more. I typically do not answer calls that I don't know but I finally got sick and tired of getting calls from this number and no messages being left so today I answered the call. The person on the other end asked if I was Beverly but then said nothing else and pretended like he didn't hear me and then hung up. These people must be stupid, the calls that they make only annoy and aggrevate people and then the people report the number to the government.
They've left a message with me- they're selling wireless home security systems and, as far as I can tell, they are affiliated with a company called Level 3 Communications which is in Laurel, MT. How we got 'blessed' with their repeated attempts at contact is because my father got a new phone. We picked a number and unfortunately, the guy (yes a guy; the marketers were asking for him by name) who had this number before us left behind a handful of telemarketers and creditors. After calling them one by one and explaining that this particular number now had new owners, I was able to get rid of all of them except for Level 3 Communications. After telling them that we were new owners, they immediately started, literally in one breath, to offer us their services. After talking to them they agreed to remove us from their calling lists. Just a little while ago, they called us again offering a wireless system and after telling them that we just had one installed (which we had), they started interrupting me, asking for my name. I was stupid enough to give it to them. Starting a couple days ago, a new number has started calling and the guy that finally left a message stated that he was selling- surprise, surprise - wireless security systems; the company that he said he was from was unintelligible. He called me by name ( on a phone that wasn't mine) and said that we had spoken before ( which we havent). DO NOT give these people your name, they will use it to their every advantage. Their practices seem underhanded at best and they have not honored my requests to be left alone. Report them. As soon as I find out to whom to send my complaint to, I will compain about this new number and Level 3. By the way, look up Level 3 sometime- their complaints are a mile long and as near as I can tell, a main number that they use is 406-530-5038
