Phone number 1-215-693-4647 called at 11:56 today. Man with an Indian accent used the old Microsoft support bit, claiming one of the office computers was sending him "distress signals". Claims he need you to go to your computer, and give him remote access to "fix the problem". Had called the night before using phone number 1-000-093-0958, and spoke to one of my office-mates. He was asked to call tomorrow, heck if he didn't. Asked him not to call here again; but we seem to receive these calls every 3 or 4 months. Have read articles regarding this fraud, yet the calls keep coming.
I've gotten a number of calls from this number; they don't leave a message and when I pick up (the last two calls which were within 5 minutes of each other), no one said anything.
Boy called pretending to be from another country(he said Iraq), he asked for me by name and said he was selling credit cards. I told him that I was a cop and his phone was being traced. He hung up very quickly. Little A-hole!
