Exact same thing happen to me today! Told them I couldn't pay it but told me they could do 3 payments... They call my sister n law looking for me.. Ugh.. Made my day hell.. So glad this is a scam
This Company called me and got me stated if I don't pay they will fail fraud on me and have a warrant out for my arrest. They wanted me to pay them 408.00 a month I told them I could pay 208.00 a month and they was not good enough for them. So now I got me an atty for these people and I recorded every call. I never refused to pay. They lady was very rude and hung up in my face..
Claimed that they have a case filed with them from a loan company from outside of the country dating back to 2011. No information on original loan, where it was obtained, original balance, contact information, etc. Claimed a felony warrant will be issued tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock if I don't settle for over $2000 of debt that they can't confirm or document. I don't have any outstanding loans, so I am not concerned. The first time that I called, the lady on the line hung up on me. The second time, "April" called me honey a lot, and only got nasty with me when I informed her that I welcome an arrest, so maybe I can get a break and get some rest from working non-stop at a real job instead of spending my day taking advantage of people, like she does. The organization names that I got were: Federal Arbitration Investigation Firm, Cash Loan Services, Lloyds Bank International. I can't find any information about Federal Arbitration Investigation Firm, or Cash Loan Services, but Lloyds is an actual bank in the UK. They have been brought up on US federal charges for money laundering.
