I got a call from this phone number saying they were from the US treasury, that I shouldn't ignore the message, and to call that number, his name was Steve Martin.
A man with Indian accent, name Richard Harris called saying I owed $4,500.00 to the IRS and he was calling from the dept of the Treasury and If I did not cooperate they would garnish my wages, asked me if I worked, and they would take money from my bank account., also,they would come arrest me!,, The caller ID said Backbone Commun. I have never gotten any communication from the IRS in the way of owing money. called my accountant and they said they have had three,other calls similar recentlyp,, to ignore!,,,

Had 2 messages from yesterday. One from this number and one from 213-408-7026. Same guy, same script. I hope people don't fall for this scam. I work in an accounting office and everyone needs to know, the IRS does not call you unless you've established a discussion with them. They always notify you by mail.
