Got the same call -threating me

threatening call...call back to avoid criminal charges....suggests it is the US treasury.

we got it too, and now we are reporting them to the police.

Recieved third call from "John Smith" with the "Department of Legal Affairs". Caller I.D. said call came from Hatboro, PA. Heavy foreign accent, perhaps Nigerian, and calling from a busy call center operation - you could hear numerous conversations in the background. I wouldn't be surprised if the call originated overseas. Said that action had been started against my wife and to call him back immediately. Obvious scam written all over it.
