First it was a recorded message saying that the Marriot was offering you a free night stay at the Hotel and to press 1 to hear details, and 2 to be removed from the calling list.  As soon as you pressed 1 you were transferred to some Indian dude that barely spoke English.  Don't do it.  It's a scam probably just looking to steal your credit card info.
