Never donate to a random cold-caller claiming to be a charity. Any money you give away to those types of callers goes literally 98-100% to the telemarketer itself, which is totally counter-productive. Doesn't matter how professional or charismatic they sound on the phone, it's still a scam. It's their job to sound that way, after all.
