I believe all the other posters here that it is AAA, but what made me curious (and I have to say it wasn't a bad call in any way) is that they said they were CAA (Canada) although they were calling from a Pennsylvania area code.
The ID says The Phone Company - but it is actually AAA!! They were trying to get me to renew my membership. When I told her I was with Geico she argued w/me about the benefits & refused to take no for an answer.
I finally had to tell her that I am an adult & ride with responsible people who have coverage on their own cars so I don't need to cover them.
This is hardly an annoying call. I also have GEICO and have just removed the road side assistance from my policy. A couple years ago, I requested GEICO to tow my 1999 Jeep to my personal mechanic whose place of business was about 20 miles from where my car broke down. However, GEICO will only tow to the nearest dealership. Now why would I take a 1999 to a dealership for repairs? We all know that dealership are way more expensive than a mechanic shop. The AAA policy will tow me (and has towed me) hundreds of miles before I am required to pay. Their service and quick and the drivers are very professional. I will pay for the AAA service until I am no longer able to drive.
Thanks to everyone who verifies this is Triple A. They call the same time everyday. Of course I am at work. Today Saturday I tried to get to the phone quick enough and didn't make it so now I am on this site finding out who they are. Verizon charges me to block numbers or I would block this one. I am not interested in AAA. # everday on my caller ID. If fact if I wanted it I could get it at a discount from my employer.
