Pretends to be calling someone else, then when told it is a wrong number, tries to solicit money for a "Breast Cancer Survivors" charity I've never heard of. All the numbers on my exchange are cell phones, so it's not legal to cold call this number, charity or not, do not call list or not, wrong number or not.
Got the call on 8/16 at dinnertime. Very polite at first. Asked for my mom by name, I told them she is now deceased. They did not acknowledge that they heard me instead they kept asking about a donation for cancer research. I said, "Sorry, we have already donated to all the charities on our list for this year." Didn't like that answer and tried to get insistent, talking louder as I hung up.
I got a call today from this number and a woman said she was raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. She also said she was calling from Bridgeport N.J. but the number is a Pa. number.
