Third party blocking service seems to intercept calls from this number on July 11, 2016.
We got a call from this number with ID name set to "Mann Tatia" on July 11, 2016. It rang only once and did not call back. Our third party blocking service (rhymes with SlowNoHobo) intercepts calls with caller ID numbers on their blacklist or tripping their "Advanced Robocall Detection" algorithms after one ring, so they're most likely already clamping down on calls from this number.
I usually come here to 800notes to check on numbers the blocking service nixed, in case there's a mistake. My thanks to folks for their posts above which leave me confident the service did its job well this time. Another site I trust enough to check for nuisance call reports also has some recent reports of nuisance calls from this number. I'm posting about my recent call in case it helps others to know this CID number is already on the service's radar.
Received a call and answered it. I like to call people on their BS. He said my computer had an error message and he could help me fix it. I asked him to clarify. He said my "computer that is running Windows" has an error message. I, being the tech-savvy person that I am, said, "Which of my 4 computers that is running Windows operating system has an error message?" He stammered for a little bit and said, "well if you get on one computer I can fix the error message through fm your internet for all the computers." I said, "nice try, buddy" and hung up.
Two calls in several days. Checked one just to see what it was. Surprise, surprise! She wanted to fix viruses on my PC. TOld never to call again, hung up and hit block.
