I got a call from this number on our land line phone claiming they are "Employment Services" in reply to a job application I had submitted and asking me to verify my information. I asked for what company did I supposedly lodge an application, and they said they could not disclose that type of information. I let them know if they could not disclose which company they were calling on the behalf of, then I would in no way disclose any personal information to them. I told them to delete any of my information they had and to never call again.
I do not use my land line number on my resume, so this was definitely an attempt to gain access to my personal information. For what purpose, I do not know.
These people are not legit. You should never give any personal information (name, address, DOB, or ANYTHING) to any caller, EVER. If you did not initiate the call, and know who you are talking to, do not give them any information.
yes rec;d calls an they claim that i owe them moeny for an old pay day loan, i told her i know all that i owe she claims that its from 2011-2013, claims that i will be in court about all this, they are going to press charges, told her to send my papers an i wpuld look into it it all sounds like a SCAM.....
