just got a call from 215-953-8012 and everytime the man said where he was calling from the line broke up, then when I asked a 5th time he said "are you deaf?" so i hung up...jerk
Has called a number of times. Early morning calls. It is supposed to be Windows calling about a computer problem. Pretty sure a SCAM. Hang up. Do not answer any questions or give them access to your computer. I know someone who almost did.
I got two calls from them today. The woman said she was calling from my Windows support service in Brooklyn. I asked her the name of the company and she kept repeating my Windows. She said something about my computer being infected and opening emails, blah, blah... I then asked her what was she suppose to do about it and she didn't seem to understand and then just repeated the name of the company , so I hung up.
Got a call 12/13/12. I said hello twice ready to hang up & guy asks For Mr. X. So i say hes not home & he hangs up. I call the # back & operator says its not in service. Weird.
I just got a call from a woman from this number (215 935 8012) Very heavy accent which made it very difficult to understand. She asked for Mr. Mark. (my husband) Who calls and asks for "Mr. Mark"? But since he wasn't home she launched into the Windows, email, computer problem. She said windows sees that my computer has been hacked and she wanted to turn me over to one of their technicians! I told her this is a scam. They have called me before and I am going to report them. Really makes me mad.
